Meet YKPA

Every child needs basic necessities in life. Education is a big part of that. Without education, children cannot be exposed to knowledge that will help them grow and contribute to making society a better place.

This is where YKPA steps in. A nonprofit organization located in Bali, which was established 10 years ago, committed to giving kids that have a disadvantage due to their situation a fair shot at education. Showing them the skills they need to grow.

The YKPA family consists of two orphanages. One which is located in Denpasar for older children and the other in Tabanan for younger children. YKPA also has a school for kids from the streets of Bali which is located in an area of Kuta.

What They Do

YKPA have helped children by giving them the opportunity to have a fair chance at education. They have built a bamboo school in an area of Kuta where children gather to learn.

They also provide food, clothing and assist children in their medical needs. Relief projects like aftermaths of earthquakes or volcano eruptions.

COVID Update

Due to the long-lasting situation of COVID-19, YPKA has suffered greatly. Bali, being a tourist destination, has been hit hard because of the pandemic. Staff have been let go but despite this YPKA has taken on more children in need. Their kindness knows no boundaries.
