Meet The NGO

Meet: Aayam

Aayam is a foundation located in Mohali, Punjab in India. This area is populated by people from other states in India like UP and Bihar. The children are not given admission to the schools around.

The aim of this NGO is to prepare lesser privileged children to get into mainstream education, giving them all an equal chance at a good life.

What They Do

This NGO goes to various villages and locates children who aren’t receiving a proper education. They then educate them and introduce them to their foundation. Because of COVID, the situation has worsened and funding has gone down. Due to this, the families are not even receiving essentials like food.

Schools are not giving admission to children from lower class families. This is giving them an unfair shot at life. That is where Aayam steps in and trains these children with vocational training.
